EXTERIOR CONSIDERATIONS:
  • Siting – narrow multi family (R2) lot so each half of this townhome has the long narrow design; great room on the exterior side, bedrooms and bathroom on the party wall
  • Low maintenance materials: aluminum railing, facia and soffit, ACQ decking, vinyl siding and Smart trims
 
INTERIOR CONSIDERATIONS:
  • Party wall is ICF from basement floor to the roof trusses.  The wall types is the BEST for sound insulation
  • Infill lot so side yards windows could be placed for maximum privacy and natural light
  • Neutral color palate as it was a spec home
 
BUDGET CONSIDERATIONS:
  • Unfinished basement as we were targeting a price point in the market
