Jody has a degree in Commerce from the University of Calgary and over 20 Years of building design and project management experience. Brian has a Bachelor of arts degree with a major in human resources from the University of Calgary and is also a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter. Both born and raised in the East Kootenay’s, together they enjoy golf, mountain biking, water skiing and hiking. Brian is active on the executive for the local and provincial Canadian Home Builders Association.

We started with just a handful of pictures of what we wanted in a home. We knew the whole build process was going to be tedious and possibly hard – that’s what everyone told us. I guess they didn’t use Charlton Homes.
Not only was Jody able to create more than what we wanted from those pictures, but she took all the things we never considered into the build. Where to face for best sun, how to place the home on the hill for least driveway and slope issue and what made sense convenience wise.
Brian had many challenges that we threw at him. He put shape to the plan and with his team brought it to life. I never heard a complaint or no we can’t do this or that.
I don’t think we built a home with Charlton, I think my friends Jody and Brian built us a home.
