EXTERIOR CONSIDERATIONS:
  • Siting – while the original cabin was still in use we had to carefully remove four very large trees to make room for the Carriage house which was to be built first
  • Heritage looking materials: wood facia and soffit.  James Hardie siding and cedar shakes, log post instead of timber beams.  Jennifer wanted the new cabin to look as if it had been there for generations.
 
INTERIOR CONSIDERATIONS:
  • There were two binders full of details for this home. Communication was key to the success of this build.
